My solution for the lack of knowledge given to my peers is this video. This video includes what people in my generation think about smoking having come from different backgrounds. Media has been the root of why smoking culture has been strong for so many decades. As touched on in "Smoking Culture Now", media has influenced the idea of smoking and the stigma around it. These teens are all individuals that make their own interpretation of the smoking culture they're in. The opinions of these students are from Russia, Canada, South Korea, Vietnam, and the United States. I wanted to get a feel for the smoking culture in countries that think of smoking very differently. In all of these countries, smoking is still seen as the norm. Compared to the United States where it is frowned upon, their smoking cultures are very similar because of people in these countries all smoke cigarettes and other tobacco products commonly. In the United States, smoking for the past couple of decades has been seen as toxic and the government has been filtering millions of dollars into research to stop it.

The best case scenario is that people truly learn from this video and make an informed decision on their life choices. I hope people will watch my video and know that it is okay if they choose to or not to smoke, but it is not okay to be ignorant of the reality that is nicotine addiction. The worst-case scenario is that nothing happens and people don't learn from the knowledge I'm sharing with them. This website was made to give easy access to my peers and help them learn about the substances they're putting into their bodies.

This video will be shared using social media. I am going to send publish it on my social media platforms and send it to my friends and family to spread. I will also be showing the video during my April Capstone display to LFA community members.
